Academics

Dear Potential New Members,

The central focus in Alpha Xi Delta is to continue to grow into strong women, and realize our potential. One of the many ways we can do this is focusing on our academics. Alpha Xi Delta provides endless support when it comes to academics. In our chapter, you can find the best study buddies, tutors or your personal cheerleaders in your sisters. Members are able to create life long friendships and begin to build a network that can open many new doors in the future. You can find our sisters in different on-campus academic honor societies such as Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, etc.

I know there are many of you who are worried that joining a sorority may take up too much of your time, or potentially hurt your grades, but I’m here to let you know that you shouldn’t be discouraged from joining. Alpha Xi Delta’s main focus is that school always comes first, and we encourage our sisters to get together for study sessions or complete homework together. There are always sisters offering to help others who need assistance in their schooling. We continue to push each other to do our very best and realize our potential, and this can be seen in the greek community. We were able to achieve the Academic Cup for the past year by having the highest cumulative GPA in the greek community, and we hope to continue this in our future semesters. If you have any additional questions regarding academics, don’t hesitate to contact me at csusmaxidacademics@gmail.com.

Yours truly,

Noelia Valtierra
